PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for folding the square-cornered bottom of a bag which can fold the width of the square-cornered bottom uniformly. SOLUTION: A pair of guide members 2 and 2' arranged along a conveyance path and folding guide plates 3 and 3' are provided. The guide members 2 and 2' are positioned to be slightly near to a folding line b from a folding back line d outside a bag bottom part e. With regard to the folding guide plates 3 and 3', an upstream side part is positioned to be slightly near to the tip from the folding back line d inside the bag bottom part e, the width in the inside/outside direction is formed to be enlarged gradually toward the downstream side, and the outer end part protrudes outward from the guide members 2 and 2'. On the downstream side, the outer end part of one folding guide plate 3 is bent in the folding line b direction. In a discharge side end part, the widths in the inside/outside direction of the folding guide plates 3 and 3' are formed to be narrow, and the outer end part is bent in the folding line b direction.
