PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid correcting and opening device for a peelable cap capable of correcting a tab of the peelable cap for a test tube and peeling to open the cap after the correction at the same position. SOLUTION: The lid correcting and opening device for the peelable cap includes a holding means of the test tube 1, a conveyance path 5 for the test tube, a rotatively driving means 10 for the test tube, a correcting means 20 for correcting the posture of the cap tab 2a, and a lid opening means 30 for peeling the cap 2 from the test tube 1 to have it open. The correcting means 20 is structured to be movable so that it can escape and move, after the correction of the tab 2a, from a cap correcting position to a standby position where it does not interfere with the cap opening operation. The lid opening means 30 is liftably provided above the cap correcting position, so that the lid opening means can drop and approach the holding position of the cap tab 2a after the means 20 escapes and moves to cause the peelable cap 2 to be held and opened.
