PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method capable of easily and certainly joining cylindrical bodies comprising a thermoplastic resin without deforming them, and a cylindrical body joined product obtained thereby. SOLUTION: In the method for joining cylindrical body (1) made of the thermoplastic resin having a joining taper (4) at its leading end and a cylindrical body (2) made of the thermoplastic resin having a joining taper (5) joined to the joining taper (4) at its leading end and having the stopper (6) for locking the leading end part of the joining taper (4) on its inner wall side, heat is applied to the joining parts of the cylindrical bodies (1) and (2) from the outer wall sides of both cylindrical bodies (1) and (2) in a state that an adhesive resin (3) made of the thermoplastic resin, of which the melting point is lower than that of the cylindrical bodies (1) and (2), is held between the joining tapers (4) and (5) to join the cylindrical bodies.
