PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of performing a route guide, considering the risk of a driver to an environmental change factor. SOLUTION: A pre-processing means 2 calculates a jerk square sum SJ(t<SB>n</SB>), and a driving feature calculation means 3 determines whether the jerk square sum SJ(t<SB>n</SB>) is more than a predetermined threshold or not. A position/advancing direction determination means 4 determines the traveling state of an own vehicle, and an environmental change factor determination means 5 determines an environmental change factor out of the own vehicle. An environmental change risk determination means 6 records information for a traveling state where a jerk square sum SJ(tn) more than the threshold is calculated in association with information for the environmental change factor in an environmental change risk database 7, and calculates, in reference to the environmental change risk database 7, the risk cost of the driver to the environmental change factor out of the own vehicle by the traveling state.
