PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger of high quality capable of unifying insertion quantity of tubes into tanks, surely solving a problem on the deformation of end parts of the tubes, and further surely preventing the increase of flow channel resistance and the lowering of brazing strength. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger having the pair of tanks, the plurality of flat tubes inserted into the tank to allow both tanks to be communicated with each other, and fins mounted among the flat tubes, an end part of each flat tube is provided with a rib swelled to at least one of inner and outer parts of the flat tube and a stopper for restricting the insertion quantity of the flat tube into the tank.
