PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure for preventing side slip between two members when connected while preventing the progress of corrosion of the members at their defective portions if any on the surfaces. SOLUTION: A cylinder head gasket 30 has a high pressure seal region 31a adopting an uneven shape with the rough and and non-uniform surface. Thus, when it is held between a cylinder block 10 and a cylinder head 20, protruded portions in an uneven shape region are bitten into the abutting faces of the cylinder block 10 and the cylinder head 20.
