PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of preventing a rubber sealing member from swelling even when used in the environment having liquid containing a component for promoting swelling of rubber. SOLUTION: A continuous film 11a of water repellent diamond-like carbon is formed on a surface 7a directed onto an outer side of a bearing space of a rubber lip seal 7 to prevent rubber of the lip seal 7 from being directly exposed to liquid in the outside and suppress its swelling even if liquid includes the component of promoting swelling of rubber.
