PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage and breakdown of the tooth part of a pinion and a rack by preventing a tooth skip phenomenon in a pick-up rack device for an electric equipment driving system, and to improve operation stability of a movable part of the electric equipment. SOLUTION: A pinion releasing means is provided to release a pinion side tooth part 21 from an engaging position to a non-engaging position when the rack 1 abuts on a stopper 3 and movement thereof is stopped. A function as a guide is given to a support shaft 4 supporting the pinion 2. The pinion 2 is positioned at an ordinary engaging position by a spring body 53.
