PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a foundation material in laying dry type tiles for securing easy and low-cost work execution. SOLUTION: A foundation material 5 for laying dry type tiles has its lateral joints formed convex upward 3. A tile 2 is placed between two projection joints 3 and fixed with adhesives. It eliminates the need of complicated projection patterns like those in conventional foundation materials. The tile in this invention does no longer require back legs and can be manufactured thinner than before.
