PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a press-molding simulation apparatus for optical elements as is capable of shortening widely a calculation time and besides of giving the simulation result satisfiable fully with a practical precision. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a deformational analysis model-making means 11 for making a deformational analysis model obtained by element breakdown of an optical element stock and a molding tool, a thermal analysis model-making means 21 for making a thermal analysis model which elementally-parts an optical element stock and a molding tool, a deformational analysis means 12 which carries out a deformational analysis of an optical element stock using a deformational analysis model and a thermal analysis means 22 which carries out a thermal analysis of an optical element stock and a molding tool using the thermal analysis model, and the apparatus has a constitution such that the thermal analysis means 22 carries out a thermal analysis by reflecting the resultant data of the deformational analysis with the deformational analysis means 12 to the thermal analysis model and thereafter the deformational analysis means 12 carries out a deformational analysis by reflecting the resultant data of the thermal analysis with the deformational analysis means 22 to the deformational analysis model.
