PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper post-processing device capable of orderly storing a stapled paper bundle on a discharge tray by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This paper post-processing device A comprises a staple-processing part 5 applying staple processing to the paper bundle S formed by stacking a plurality of sheets and the discharge tray 4 on which one of the stapled paper bundle S is stacked. The paper post-processing device A also comprises a binding needle interference prevention part 25 allowed to advance and retreat relative to the discharge tray 4. Before a next paper bundle S is discharged onto the discharge tray 4, the binding needle interference prevention part 25 advances into the discharge tray 4 to cover at least the stapled portion of the paper bundle S on the discharge tray 4.
