PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can obtain high-quality images by stably irradiating light of a quantity suitable for hardening ink, and by hardening the ink well. SOLUTION: There are set a recording head 8 which has nozzles formed for discharging to a recording medium the ink that is hardened by irradiating ultraviolet rays, an ultraviolet irradiation device 15 equipped with a low pressure mercury lamp 17 which discharges at a cap part 19 and generates ultraviolet rays to harden the ink by an arc tube 18, a cap cooling fan 31 for adjusting a temperature of the cap part 19, and a luminous tube cooling fan 27 for adjusting a temperature of the arc tube 18.
