PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress uneven wetting on a region in the vicinity of an ejection nozzle without being affected by a composition of a used ink even when an inkjet recording head is used for a long time period. SOLUTION: At least a region in the vicinity of each ejection nozzle on a face formed thereon having a plurality of ejection nozzles for ejecting ink in the inkjet recording head is made to be one having a high affinity for ink by a chemical treatment. As uniform wetting 401 of ink occurs on the region in the vicinity of each of the ejection nozzles, each ink droplet 304 is ejected in a predetermined direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
