PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a different color pasta sorting apparatus so constituted that pasta, which is moved by a feed conveyor, is continuously photographed by a CCD camera and different color pasta having color irregularity to be excluded is detected by this image processing to exclude the different color pasta without relying on the manual work of an inspector. SOLUTION: The different color pasta sorting apparatus is provided with the feed conveyor 1 for receiving and arranging a large number of rows of pasta A to feed them, the CCD camera 12 for continuously photographing the pasta A moving through the inspection space 9 set on the way of the moving route due to the feed conveyor 1, an image processor for processing the photographed image and detecting the different color pasta to be excluded from a degree of color irregularity to output the position coordinate signal of the different color pasta and a sorting means 13 for receiving the signal from the image processor and operated when the different color pasta to be excluded arrivers at the rear end part of the feed conveyor 1 to guide the different color pasta to be excluded to a separate route from the pasta A normally discharged from the feed conveyor 1.
