<p>An endoscope and an endoscope device that are capable of screening and smooth approach to a desired enlarged observation part and capable of enlarged observation of an object by approaching as close as 3-4 mm to the object without requiring troublesome operation, e.g. zooming. The endoscope comprises a fixed focus imaging unit consisting of an objective optical system (5) and a color solid state image sensor (1) where a color filter is provided for each pixel. The solid state image sensor satisfies a conditional expression (1) (300<IH/P<550), the objective optical system satisfies a conditional expression (2) (300<FI/P<550) and a conditional expression (3) (2400xP<Fno.<4200xP). An imaging plane of the solid state image sensor of the fixed focus imaging unit is placed at a position where both an MTF on the optical axis of a spatial frequency 1/(3xP) at an object distance of 4 mm of the object optical system and an MTF on the optical axis of a spatial frequency 1/(3xP) at an object distance of 50 mm are 10% or more.</p> |
