ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which a member having true abnormality can be specified when an abnormality is found in at least one of a plurality of state values indicating a state of an internal combustion engine.

SOLUTION: When executing feedback control of an intake fresh air amount by increase and decrease in an EGR gas amount and of the fuel addition amount into exhaust gas by an air-fuel ratio sensor, a judgment is made in which member the abnormality occurs on the basis of a result obtained by comparing an output value and command value of a member taken as an object to be detected with a reference value corresponding thereto. Relationships between the output value and command value of a member taken as an object to be detected in respective operating conditions and the reference value corresponding thereto, vary depending on sensors and devices in which the abnormality occurs.
