APPARATUS FOR CLEANING INSIDE OF VERTICALLY CYLINDRICAL BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning the inside of a vertical cylindrical body, with which an attachment layer contaminated with dioxins inside a chimney is removed without using water while preventing the surrounding environment from being contaminated.

SOLUTION: This cleaning apparatus is provided with: an attachment scraping unit 5 which is fit to a long shaft 3 and has a scraping member to be rotated around the vertical axis of the vertical cylindrical body P; a suction part 43 for directing a suction port 45 to the vicinity of the scraping member; a dust collecting unit 49 to be connected to the suction part 43 through a suction hose 47; a holding unit 7 arranged to be slid on the shaft for positioning the center of the shaft in the vertical cylindrical body P; and a scraping unit driving means for sliding the attachment scraping unit 5 continuously or intermittently in the vertical direction.
