<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter-receiver which substantially reduces crosstalk. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of inputs 21a and 21b of a signal processing circuit 21 are connected to a pair of outputs 27a and 27b of a photoelectric conversion circuit 27 in a receiving unit 17 respectively, and receive differential signals S<SB>IN1</SB>and S<SB>IN2</SB>from the photoelectric conversion circuit 27 which receives a signal light L2, respectively. A capacitor 23 holds an offset voltage V<SB>OFF</SB>between a pair of terminals 23a and 23b connected to the pair of inputs 21a and 21b of the signal processing circuit 21. The offset voltage V<SB>OFF</SB>is provided to the pair of inputs 21a and 21b. An offset voltage setting circuit 25 has first and second inputs 25a and 25b connected to the pair of terminals 23a and 23b of the capacitor 23 respectively, and an output 25c connected to the terminal 23a which is one of the pair of terminals 23a and 23b of the capacitor 23, and sets the offset voltage V<SB>OFF</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
