<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorant derived from a natural product, stably exhibiting excellent deodorant effects on various kinds of odorous substances, usable for deodorizing a wide range such as foods and drinks, feeds or various kinds of wastes and safely usable even by administration into a living body or application to the living body without adverse effects. <P>SOLUTION: A yeast cell wall fraction obtained by removing soluble intramicrobial cell components from a yeast subjected to an enzymic treatment or a non-enzymic treatment is used as the deodorant for the various kinds of odorous substances. The deodorant is derived from the natural product and is safe and can safely be used even by administration into the living body or application to the living body. The odorous substances can be deodorized in the body or from the interior of the body by the administration or application without the adverse effects.
