<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance detection type sensor capable of shape sensing well without being affected by a noise from the detection object. <P>SOLUTION: The capacitance detection type sensor which is the sensor for detecting the shape of the detection object by detecting the capacitance between the detection object and the detection electrodes arranged on the surface of the sensor is provided with a reference electrode arranged nearby the detection electrodes for detecting the potential of the detection object, and the potential detection part for measuring the detection potential as reference potential based on the static capacitance of the detection electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
