PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications apparatus with a temperature monitoring function capable of issuing a caution to a user by detecting an abnormal state, wherein heat radiation property is reduced at an early stage. SOLUTION: In the communications apparatus 11, an optical transceiver 1, housing a heat generating component 4 and a heat radiating member 7 in a case 2, is provided to be inserted into and ejected from the body 12 of the communications apparatus, and the case 2 is tightly adhered with a radiator 15 on the side of the communications apparatus. The heat radiating member 7 comprises a first temperature sensor 8 for detecting the temperature of the heat-radiating member 7, and the radiator 15 comprises a second temperature sensor 16 for detecting the temperature conducted from the heat-radiating member 7.
