PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold cathode fluorescent lamp changing the color of emitted light by switching sole light emission of an inside glass tube and that of an outside glass tube. SOLUTION: A plurality of lamp tubes 3, 4 are inserted into multiple, and the length of the outermost lamp tube is made longer than that of another glass tubes. Both ends of the outermost glass tube are airtightly sealed, and phosphor films 2, 6 made of materials different from each other are applied on the inner face of respective glass tubes including the outermost glass tube 4. Common end part of the outermost glass tube and the glass tubes at inside are airtightly sealed, and the glass tubes at inside are held in a manner of cantilever. Electrodes 9, 11 are arranged to end parts 3A, 4A fixed to the inside of the glass tubes respectively, and a common electrode 7 is arranged on an other end part 4B of the outermost glass tube.
