PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce height, and to make locking reliable at a locking position. SOLUTION: A retainer 50 has a pair of side pieces 53. The pair of side pieces 53 is fitted across a female-side housing 10 while both the sides of the female-side housing 10 are sandwiched. A locking reception section 51 is provided at the pair of side pieces 53. At the right front and right rear of the opening edge of a retainer fitting hole 16 on both the sides of the female-side housing 10, a first temporary lock 17A for keeping the retainer 50 at a temporary locking position by engaging with the locking reception section 51, and a second temporary lock 17B, are provided each. Right above the opening edge of the retainer fitting hole 16 on both the sides of female-side housing 10, a lock 18 is provided for keeping the retainer 50 at the locking position by engaging with the locking reception section 51.
