PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form the end of a power cable of 110 kV class or over. SOLUTION: This cable end is formed with a semiconductive layer 12 outside a cable which is exposed by peeling the terminal of a CV cable 1 of 110 kV class. A stress cone 3 composed of a rubber-form elastic material is mounted around the exposed semiconductor layer 12 outside the cable. Moreover, the cable end is formed with a field relaxing layer 4 up to the top end of the cable insulating layer 12 from the bottom end of the stress cone 3 at the periphery of the stress cone 3 and the periphery of the cable insulating layer 12. The field relaxing layer 4 is formed of a material where an elastomer material is charged with a zinc oxide (ZnO) or silicon carbide(SiO) or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
