PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specially reproduce the field accuracy of a DV (a Digital Video) data without increasing a buffer capacity without using an exclusive data decoding means. SOLUTION: A stream controller 15 for a data reproducer 1 is controlled by a system controller 21, and the data stream of the DV data transmitted from a storage device is input and a gained DV frame #l is taken into a buffer memory 16 ( a state A to the state B shown in a diagram). A stream controller 15 prepares the DV frame #1' as the copying of the DV frame #1 on the buffer memory 16 (the state B to the state C shown in the diagram). An AUX-data rewrite 17 is controlled by the system controller 21, and an FF flag and an FS flag for the AUX data of the DV frame #1 are rewritten to FF=0 and FS=1, and the FF flag and the FS flag for the AUX data of the DV frame #1' are rewritten to FF=0 and FS=0 (the state C to the state D shown in the diagram).
