PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition suitable for production of a waveguide having a beneficial flexible feature. SOLUTION: The composition is composed of a polymer containing a unit of the formula: RSiO<SB>1.5</SB>(wherein, R represents an optionally substituted organic group and a plural number of functional terminal groups), a first component which changes solubility of the composition under dried condition by activation, a second component containing a plurality of functional groups selected from an epoxide group, an oxetane group, a vinyl ether group and their combinations. The second component exists in an effective amount to improve flexibility of the composition under dried condition both before and after activation. The flexible optical waveguide, a process for production of the flexible optical waveguide and an electronic device containing the flexible optical waveguide are also provided.
