PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the time and labor required to perform inventory and record the person who has conducted the inventory. SOLUTION: The stock management device 1 is equipped with a number-in-stock entering means 7 whereby the number of pieces of objects to be accommodated in each accommodation place is entered as the number in stock, a stock information memory means 8 whereby the location codes to specify a plurality of accommodation places are recorded as a plurality of stock information pieces corresponding to the numbers in stock, an incoming/outgoing place entering means 9 to enter the location code as the incoming/outgoing code, an information processing means 12 to update the stock information, and a by-individual code entering means 15 to enter the by-individual codes.
