PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operational reliability of an input part of a rice cooker, even if the input part is arranged in a lid body which is apt to be affected by heat generated by rice cooking. SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises a rice cooker body 1 capable of storing an inner pot 28 inside, an inner lid 54 for closing an opening of the rice cooker body 1 so as to be freely opened and closed, and a control device 38 for controlling rice cooking. The lid body 2 is provided with the input part 13 for inputting operation information such as a rice cooking operation or the like. The input part 13 comprises an operating board 11 having operating buttons 7, a bottom cover 19 fitted to the operating board 11 so as to form a space (a storing part) 4, and an operating substrate 18 arranged in the space (the storing part) 4 formed by the operating board 11 and the bottom cover 19 for sensing input of the operating button 7 when the corresponding operating button 7 is pressed. The input part 13 is mounted on the lid body 2 so that the surface of the operating board 11 exposes outside from an opening 52 formed on an outer face of an outer lid 51.
