PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type lawn mower, having a discharging duct 21 for conveying grass mown by a mower device 15 attached to a travelling machine body so as to be able to precisely grasp that the grass is accumulating at the inner bottom surface of the discharging duct 21 (a sign of the clogging of the discharging duct 21). SOLUTION: This lawn mower is provided by covering an open hole 57 facing downward and formed at one of left and right frontal corner parts in the bottom part of the discharging duct 21 with a contacting board 61 capable of up and down rotating, arranging a contact type clogging sensor 71 capable of making a contact with the contacting board 61 at the front end of the inner surface of a side plate 52a at the open hole 57 side of the discharging duct 21, and detecting whether or not the contacting board 61 is rotated, i. e., whether or not the grass is loaded on the contacting board 61 by whether or not a sensing body 72 protruded from the clogging sensor 71 and facing downward is brought into contact with the upper surface of the contacting board 61.
