PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic valve rush adjusting element which prevents a breakdown caused by a movement of a valve-closing body in a lateral direction or by its rotation, or prevents destruction of a valve body spring. SOLUTION: A control valve 5 controls an axial center bore 6 which connects low-pressure space 4 arranged above a plunger head 2 to high-pressure space 3 arranged below the plunger head 2. The control valve 5 has the valve-closing body 7, and loads are imposed on the valve-closing body 7 in the opening direction by the valve body spring 17. As a result, the valve-closing body 7 moves from on a cylindrical-ring-shaped seal surface 8 arranged above the plunger head 2 to a movement-limitation surface 9 of a center piece 24. On the other hand, the closing of the control valve 5 is performed by the movement of oil from the high-pressure space 3 to the inside of the low-pressure space 4. Then a cylindrical guide surface is provided which is connected to the plunger head 2, and is axially parallel.
