PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistory parking space housing two cars in row and two or more in file, lifting them by minimum necessary power, enabling the entry and exit of cars at the 2nd downward positions from the front in file and assuring safety operation at all times. SOLUTION: Columns are provided at the corners of each longitudinal square space with a necessary height for accommodating two cars in rows and two or more in depth. Each longitudinal space is divided from the other by beams. Side rails are provided at both lateral sides of each longitudinal square space. A plurality of roller shafts 8 are fixed to the frames of multi-stage lift provided for each longitudinal square space, and rollers 4 are fitted into the side rails. A passage is provided at the center between multi-stage lifts, except the deepest row. Two spur wheels 7 are vertically provided facing each other at the inner sides of left and right multi-state lifts, and a gear around the center of the side rails' side surfaces. Regarding the left and right winch motors, one rotates in the lifting direction while the other in the lowering direction. The front row car floor is leveled to the exit for putting in and out cars in the first row and those in the second downward rows from the front are put in and out by leveling the first row floors to the exist.
