PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic apparatus including a fixing device having a heat roller and a pressure means, the apparatus which ensures a print of high image quality by making the pressure of the pressure means on the heat roller uniform in the direction of the rotation axis of the heat roller. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic apparatus in which prints are produced in such a manner that an unfixed toner image on the surface of a recording medium is fixed to the recording medium by the fixing device having the heat roller and the pressure means, the pressure means has a pressure member and a mounting member for mounting the pressure member thereon, the pressure member being supported on the mounting member almost at the middle of the pressure member in its lengthwise direction.
