PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitride semiconductor luminous element capable of obtaining even luminescence over the entire luminous surface.

SOLUTION: The device is provided with a laminated body configured by laminating an n-type layer, an active layer and a p-type layer on a substrate, wherein the laminated body has parallel n-type electrode formation regions where in parallel with each other the n-type layer surfaces are exposed to form the n-type electrodes like lines, the n line electrode is each formed in the n-type electrode formation region, a translucent electrode is formed in the substantially entire n-type layer, the n line electrodes are separated from each other and disposed at an equal distance and a n pad electrode is formed at one end of each n line electrode, and linear current diffusion conductors that are alternately disposed with the line n electrodes and formed so as to be at equal distances from the adjacent n line electrodes on the translucent electrode and the p pad electrode is formed at one end of each of the current diffusion conductors.
