<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic linear motor driving apparatus exhibiting excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic linear motor driving apparatus 10 where a rail 11 engages with the base body 12, a drive section 20 is interposed between the right and left side faces 11c and 11d of the rail 11 and the opposing faces 12c and 12d of the base body, and the rail 11 engaging with the base body 12 is movable relatively, the drive section 20 comprises roller means 25 and 25 touching the opposite side faces 11c and 11d of the rail, ultrasonic oscillators 21 and 21 for imparting a rotating force to the roller means 25 and 25, and members 22 and 22 for biasing the ultrasonic oscillators 21 and 21 to the rail side and arranged to move the base body 12 linearly along the rail 11 using vibration of the right and left oscillators 21 and 21 as a drive source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
