COIL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fault of a so-called edge-wise coil with a rectangular wire wound vertically to improve a packing factor and enhance a skin effect.

SOLUTION: Electric wires 2a-2e each composed of a wire made of a conductor coated with an insulator are used. The five electric wires 2a-2e are overlaid in the direction toward the outside of the windings. The five electric wires 2a-2e thus overlaid are wound together in a line with a winding shaft 11 as a center to constitute a coil 1. The skin effect causes a current to flow on surfaces of the respective conductors of the electric wires 2a-2e.
