<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image recorder/reproducer which can raise the versatility of still image data. <P>SOLUTION: The still image data of JPEG format is read from an optical disk 20 for still image recording in a disk reader 2, and stored in a hard disk 3. The stored still image data is decoded by an MPEG decoder 5, and sequentially reproduced at a predetermined time interval as a slide show. The picture size of the reproduced still image is sequentially changed into a size which agrees in a VD video format by an image processing unit 6. The still image after the size change is encoded and multiplexed by an MPEG coding unit 7, changed to a series of moving image data of DVD video format, and the moving image data and the management data of the moving image data are written in an optical disk 30 for forming an album by the disk reader 2 while mastering. After writing, further, still image data stored in the hard disk 3 is read, and written in the optical disk 30 for forming the album by the disk reader 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
