PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve L-lysine productivity of a bacterium of Corynebacteriaceae. SOLUTION: A method for producing L-lysine comprises modifying so as to raise the expression amount of a gene derived from the bacterium and encoding a protein imparting resistance to surfactants to the bacterium by substituting a promoter with a strong promoter or raising copy number in the cell and cultivating the bacterium having ability of producing L-lysine in a liquid culture medium to produce and accumulate L-lysine in the culture medium and collecting the L-lysine.
