PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel in which an increase in manpower and cost required for forming a repair line is suppressed, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel includes: a plurality of gate lines G1-Gy formed on a gate line forming face in parallel with one another; a plurality of signal lines S1-Sx formed on a signal line forming face so as to perpendicularly intersect the gate lines G1-Gy; an insulating film to insulate between layers of the gate line forming face and the signal line forming face; and the repair lines formed on the circumference of a square shaped display region 3 containing each of the intersections of the gate lines G1-Gy and the signal lines S1-Sx. Furthermore, the repair lines include: repair lines SR1-SRm for the signal lines formed on the gate line forming face and surrounding three edge parts of the display region 3 so as not to intersect the gate lines G1-Gy; and repair lines GR1-GRn for the gate lines formed on the signal line forming face and surrounding three edge parts of the display region 3 so as not to intersect the signal lines S1-Sx.
