PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine automatic stop/restart control device capable of surely preventing acceleration of a vehicle at a time of restarting without complicated control. SOLUTION: In this device, a rotating member 17 including a stopper engagement part 17a is attached to a shaft 15A rotating with a throttle valve of an engine, a stopper 18 driven by a solenoid and displaced between an action position in which the same can engage with a stopped engagement part of the rotating member 17 and an evacuation position in which the same can not engage with the stopper engagement part is provided, a stopper mechanism 16 limiting a rotatable range of a throttle valve by the rotating member 17 and the stopper 18 is constructed. A condition where the rotatable range of the throttle valve is limited by the stopper mechanism 16 is retained until an acceleration permission condition is established after automatic restarting control is started, and limitation of the rotatable range of the throttle valve by the stopper mechanism 16 is released when the acceleration permission condition is established.
