PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a liner by the inner surface of a socket when installing the liner for a pipe jacking method on the inner surface of the socket of a pipe. SOLUTION: This liner 20 for the pipe jacking method has metallic propulsion transmitting parts 21 arranged in a plurality of places at predetermined intervals in the peripheral direction of the socket 1 in a state of contacting with the innermost end surface 5 in the socket 1 of one pipe and jacking the one pipe by transmitting propulsion acting in the pipe axis directional socket innermost side direction from the other pipe to the one pipe by contacting with the tip of a spigot 3 of the other pipe inserted into the socket 1, and a plurality of metallic connecting parts 22 for connecting the propulsion transmitting parts 21 adjacent in the peripheral direction. The connecting parts 22 have length adjusting mechanisms 24 capable of freely freely adjusting its length. A pipe diameter directional outside surface in the propulsion transmitting part 21 can be stuck to the inner surface 1a of the socket 1 by diametrally expanding the liner 20 by lengthening lengths of the plurality of connecting parts 22 by the length adjusting mechanism 24.
