PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine with a camera capable of surely recognizing a profile of a car body even when an image pick-up area of a camera device is shaded. SOLUTION: This car washing machine comprises a camera device 7 installed at a front top of a car washing machine body 1 and capable of picking up images of a car washing area including an automobile to be washed from the top, an illumination intensity sensor 16 detecting the illumination intensity around a photographic subject, a storing part 25 storing shutter speed data of the camera device 7 according to the illumination intensity, and an image processing board 21 for reading the shutter speed data of the camera device 7 from the storing part 25 according to the illumination intensity detected by the illumination sensor, and picking up the images by the camera device 7 at the shutter speed. The image processing board 21 selects an image most suitable for extracting the profile of the car body at an image selecting part 27 from a plurality of images picked up at different shutter speeds.
