PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle having an auxiliary braking device capable of maintaining the braking force of a braking device even when an engine is stopped. SOLUTION: In a vehicle for high lift work having a power chamber 84 to maintain a state in which a brake pedal 71 is stepped in by the air pressure of a vacuum tank 82, and a third brake 80 consisting of front and rear brake control valves 86, 87 to maintain the braking state of a brake device 70 by maintaining the braking force, the third brake 80 has a third brake controller 91 to restore the air pressure by driving an engine 61 for a predetermined time when a vacuum switch 83 detects that the air pressure in the vacuum tank 82 reaches below the predetermined pressure.
