PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray driving apparatus in which wobbling caused in a tray is made inconspicuous after it is moved to a discharge position when the tray is moved to the discharge position even when the apparatus has such constitution that current supplied to a driving motor is not detected and a switch for detecting that the tray has been moved to the discharge position is omitted. SOLUTION: The tray driving apparatus has constitution provided with: a tray driving mechanism for reciprocating the tray using the driving motor 5 as a driving power source; and a motor driving means 204 for driving the driving motor 5, wherein the motor driving means 204 lowers voltage applied to the driving motor 5 from first voltage to 0 V gradually when the prescribed time elapses from a time at which the tray is considered to move to the discharge position after movement of the tray existing at a housed position is started by applying the first drive voltage to the driving motor 5.
