PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile force applying type inputting device for allowing the depressing operation of a detection switch without using a driving member, and for preventing the friction of the surface of a push button. SOLUTION: This tactile force applying type inputting device is provided with an operation member 12 having a circular peripheral side face 12a to be rotated in the peripheral direction, and to be depressed to a diameter direction orthogonal to the axial direction, an actuator 6 for applying the rotational force to the operation member 12, case bodies 1 and 2 which have an opening 1a from which a portion of the peripheral side face 12a of the operation member 12 is exposed, and in which the operation member 12 and the actuator 6 are stored, and a detection switch 5 mounted on the case bodies 1 and 2 to be driven according to the depressing operation of the operation member 12. The case bodies 1 and 2 are provided with a bracket 4 which swings with the operation member 12 according to the depressing operation of the operation member 12, and the operation member 12 is supported so as to be rotatable by the bracket 4, and when the operation member 12 is depressed, a detection switch 6 is directly depressed and driven by the swinging bracket 4.
