A focussing lens (2) includes a deflecting element (4) which folds the beam path in the focussing lens. The beam path (S) passes through an entry surface in the deflecting element, is folded in a deflecting surface by means of reflection, and passes through to the exit surface of the deflecting element. The entry and/or exit surfaces are curved.
