The device has a delivery drum and pneumatic cylinders. A turning mechanism is positioned below a delivery drum (1) with an air box (3) having a guide conducting surface. The air box is assigned, over the width of the delivery drum and extends into the guide transfer area of a pneumatic cylinder (2). The air box has an air intake and an air blower (5) switchable in its air providing direction. At the air box in the guide an air chamber is arranged in the transfer area. A grip arm controls the pneumatic cylinder and controlled over a channel with the air blower connected. The air intake and blower (5) are separable by a shutoff device (7) on the channel (6), and operated as a function of the air providing direction.
