<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposal method of a metal capable of reducing the leaching rate of a radioactive nuclide by suppressing corrosion of the metal buried for disposal as radioactive waste. <P>SOLUTION: An activated metal carried out of a nuclear facility as radioactive waste 1 is packed in a drum 2 in a contact state with a metal of a different kind, and a solidification agent (cement) is filled therein to produce a waste object 3 to be buried. Hereby, a corrosion potential is pulled each other by the plurality of metals, and a corrosion current can be reduced in the whole metal system, and the leaching rate of a radioactive nuclide included in the activated metal can be suppressed low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
