PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-irritant cleanser composition good in foamability, sebum stain cleansing effect and storage stability, and also good in feeling in use. SOLUTION: The cleanser composition contains an N-acylaspartic acid-based surfactant consisting mainly of an N-acylaspartic acid salt, wherein counterions are at≥0.4 equivalent but less than 1.0 equivalent per equivalent of carboxy group of the total carboxy group of the N-acylaspartic acid-based surfactant component.
