PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing seal having improved sealing performance, handling efficiency, and productivity with less man-hours and lower manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The bearing seal 3 is mounted in a seal groove 1a which is provided in one of the mutually opposed peripheral faces of an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 1 of a bearing for sealing a space between both rings. It comprises a reinforcing ring 4 and an elastic sealing ring 5 attached and joined to the single face thereof. At the peripheral edge corresponding to the seal groove 1a, the elastic sealing ring 5 has a lip portion 5a which protrudes from the peripheral edge of the reinforcing ring 4 and extends to the radial direction. The bearing seal 3 is mounted in the seal groove 1a with the elastic sealing ring 5 directed to the inside of the bearing in such a manner that the lip portion 5a is pressed and fitted into the seal groove 1a.
