PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball machine and a simulation program where amusement is improved by enabling a player to enjoy the process of deciding the number of maximum times of continuing repeating of a first state and a second state by a variable display prize-winning device. SOLUTION: The pinball machine comprises a main CPU 32 which generates a big-win game on condition that a game ball has entered a starting port 6. The pinball machine is provided with: a plurality of ball entering holes 20C, 20L and 20R which the game ball can enter or pass through; and a ball entering hole switch for detecting entering or passing through of the game ball to at least one of the ball entering holes. The pinball machine comprises the main CPU 32 for deciding the number of maximum times of continuing opening and closing control of a big prize-winning port 8 based on the detection of the game ball by the ball entering hole detection switch.
